Our company has gone home, arriving in 5 degree weather, and leaving us with SNOW!! We had enough snow to cover the grass, but it is now gone. It is going to be 5o's today, and 60's tomorrow before cooling off again into the high 30's on Saturday.
We had a great time at our annual HOG Club party last Saturday. Dinner was great, some wore costumes for our Mardi Gra theme, and there were games and prizes for many of us. Chuck won the first door prize, and I won one also. John O'Laughlin - who was also originally from Lockport - is the guy in the Jester costume. He is one of the other instructors that Darrell works with.
Mary Ann and I had some fun fabric shopping, there is a fabric store north of Bowling Green where flannel is only $3.00/yard. Of course we had to buy some. While she was here, she made a table runner, her first attempt at quilting with cotton fabrics.
Darrell is now in Milwaukee for his NQI training. Lucky him, he gets to be in that 0-20 degree weather, with all that snow-ugh. Lucky me, I get to work for the next two nights. Hope everyone is enjoying their winter!
