It sure is cold here, high 30's, low 40's. The wind is blowing today, making it seem colder. Darrell has been outside for the last couple of days, playing with his tractor. He has created a new turn-around for us in the front yard, and today had 46 ton of stone delivered. It has really smoothed out the driveway, taking out the dips and large stone. Hopefully when it rains next (probably tonight) it will filter the fine stuff and pack it hard.
We are ready for our next round of visitors, the Hawkes are coming this weekend, and the weather will make them feel right at home, the lows on Friday are supposed to be 5 degrees!!! Seems it never fails that when they come, they manage to bring the cold stuff with them.
Guess I had better get going on my quilting. Later.
Well I never made it to my quilting. Our neighbor came over and asked if we could stay with her husband while she went to the store. Now that dinner is done, we are talking to the "girls" (granddaughters), and how much snow they have. Our conversation was short, so now maybe I'll try my quilting again.
