Well, belated Happy New Year to everyone. Guess I have really gotten behind by not posting since July 4th, 2011!!!! We had a busy summer and fall. July we had our bike trip to New England with Chuck and Mary Ann. We returned to Lockport a couple of days early, and left for Nebraska to help move Kevin and Michelle to Charlotte, NC. The end of August we made a quick trip to Lockport for Darrell's mothers 85th birthday. It was a great time, and got to see a lot of family we haven't seen in a long time. Over Labor Day we rode our bikes to Gatlinburg with the Hog Club. We had to come back a day early due to severe weather coming in, and we did get caught in the rain the last 60 miles or so of our ride home. At least it was warm.
We were up to Jim's to watch the kids the end of September, and again in December to have our early Christmas with family in Lockport and Alma. We went to Charlotte for Christmas with Kevin and Michelle. New Years was quiet at home for us.
My mom loves Tennessee. She has adapted very well to the weather, retirement home and even made some friends. It is great having her so close now.
This year has already seemed to fly by, it is already March. Kevin will be here in a couple of weeks, he is changing jobs, and moving to Columbus, IN.
The motorcycle season will be starting soon, so Darrell will be back to work soon.
Guess I will have to get going, so much to do...until next time - hopefully sooner than the last time!
